The Abstracts are the Cotswold Wedding Band

It’s a big claim, but we believe the fact we all live and work in the Cotswolds coupled with our experience playing at most, if not all, of the major venues here means we are the ideal band for your Cotswold wedding.

Let’s face it, this is going to be one of the most important days of your life and our job is to unobtrusively set up, be flexible and give you and your guests a night to remember – this is your big day.

If you are not sure about booking us – don’t take our word for it, have a look at the testimonials from people who agree that we are the Cotswold wedding band of choice.

To first dance, or not to first dance…

For some couples the first dance is the pinnacle of the wedding day.  The first dance is the point at which the formalities of the ceremony, wedding breakfast and speeches segues into the evening event; all the guests are assembled and it is time for the party to begin.

For others, the very idea of dancing as a couple in front of their friends fills them with horror.

However you decide to do it, we can help by performing your first dance song (if we have enough notice and we think we can do it justice) or providing and playing a recorded version or simply announcing that the party is underway! Your day, your choice.

Do we need a DJ?

We can supply various music mixes for when we are not performing or we can play your mixes through our PA from your iPod, iPhone, iPad or other MP3 player.

If you let us know in advance, we can ensure your favourite songs are included in the recorded playlist. We have lights and lasers so there is no danger of a lull when the band are not playing.

Our lead singer worked previously as a DJ in a top London nightclub on the King’s Road, so we know how to keep the audience dancing.

Of course you may have your own favourite DJ and if we have his or her details in advance, we’ll make sure we both work seamlessly.
